New Cambridge Early Years Programme Launch Event in Vietnam

I'm very fortunate to have been able to support Cambridge University Press & Assessment colleagues Bridget McHugh, Caroline Walton, Melvyn Lim, Lavaniya Ganeson and Mai Tran in Vietnam.

The new Cambridge Early Years Programme (for 3-6 year olds) Launch Event took place on 7th March in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam to an enthusiastic audience of school leaders and teachers.

A range of sessions throughout the day illustrated the programme’s curriculum approach, key features and support resources. Crucially, this included how to plan and teach with the materials, as well as how to measure pupils' progress with the Cambridge Early Years Check. Delegates enjoyed the interactive planning session which enabled them to explore how easy it is to plan for different contexts.

Authoring the Communication and Language resources for First Language learners within the Programme, was a huge commitment. However, seeing the Learners’ books for the first time, and seeing teachers’ reactions, made it all worthwhile. A big thank you to all involved and for the very warm welcome.
